Clearance Table

Use the following tables to check the blade projection (or interference) as the shutter is in the open position so that the blades may open unobstructed.

This is important to note in case you have a shallow reveal which will mean that your blades may be close to or interfere with either the glass window , frame or even the window handles. Look for the required clearance also when selecting a sliding track system as it would be expected that you may want both panels to slide past each other with both blades in the open position. To do this you will require twice the clearance (of the same side projection) As you can see there are a few options of blades to choose and there are a few ways to configure the layout.
